rest while he watches closely over his grazing prize. He may need his strength
later in order to keep them if a challenger comes calling and a fight ensues.
The Shawnee Indians had seen this autumn ritual many times and called these
animals ‘Wapiti’ meaning, “white rump”. Number - 1003
