Lizard Lake

Crystal River - Crystal, Colorado

 Lizard Lake must have been a refreshing stop on occasion for the 400 or so miners in this area around 1886. Crystal City had 7 working silver mines, hotels, and even 2 newspapers.  Crystal is ghost town today, but the scenery on the way to the Lost Horse Mill (Crystal Mill) is especially stunning in fall.
